How to Draw a Cute Baby Fox in Pencil

FOX

Hey there!

Today I’m going to show you how to draw a cute baby fox step-by-step in pencil. Don’t worry if you can’t draw a circle perfectly or the shapes look a little funny. Go ahead, give it a try. If it doesn’t turn out perfectly, it’s okay. You can always add something it make it your own unique picture or you can simply draw it again.

To follow along with me, you’re going to need a:

  • pencil
  • eraser
  • piece of paper
  • something to color the fox with (I used color pencils)

I hope to see your finished baby fox drawing. Tweet me your finished piece @artistrage

Let me know what you want to draw, paint, or create next!

See you next week,
-Pamela

How to Draw a Symmetrical Face in Pencil Girl Version

symface

Hey there! I’m Pamela and today I’m going to show you how I draw symmetrical faces. This method is great for people drawing comics, cartoons, or even realistic faces. Go ahead and grab a piece of paper, a pencil, an eraser, and a ruler and lets get started.

In the video you will notice that I’m not giving you exact measurements on how far each feature on the face should be from one another. This is because each face is unique. I am giving a generalization of where the eyes, nose, and mouth should fall in relation to one another. Hopefully, this will give you enough information to go off and try to draw a symmetrical, or even semi-symmetrical face of your own. (The one I drew isn’t even PERFECTLY symmetrical.)

As an extra little note, I wanted to add that you do not have to make the eyes as big as I did. If you’re trying to draw a realistic looking female face, it may actually be in your best interests to draw the eyes a little smaller. When I draw, I personally like to make my female characters have larger, doll like eyes. Basically, what I’m saying is when it comes down to the smaller details, draw to your tastes.

Thanks for watching this week’s tutorial. If you want me to draw, paint, or create something in particular, please leave a comment below and tell me what it is!

See you next week,
~Pamela
